Solid-State Relays (SSRs) are electronic switching devices that switch loads without moving parts, using semiconductor components such as triacs, thyristors, or transistors. SSRs perform the same basic function as electromechanical relays (EMRs)—controlling high-voltage or high-current circuits using a low-power control signal—but they do so more quickly, silently, and with longer lifespan.
